While in college, I worked as an illustrator and graphic designer. I soon learned about animation and began taking courses in animation and storyboarding. When I learned that Warner Bros was hiring, I applied and was fortunate to land on my first animated feature as an animator's assistant. It was Space Jam.
After a few years, I moved on to storyboarding as I was always interested in story. From then on, I've worked on dozens of movies and tv shows at almost every major studio. Some of the projects I've worked on were Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Lilo & Stitch 2, TinkerBell & The Lost Treasure, Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Phineas & Ferb, Dragons: Race To The Edge. Early this year, I was part of a small crew consisting of myself, another story artist and the director. We worked on a tv pilot for Amy Poehler called Duncanville. It was recently greenlit by Fox TV.
More recently, I finished work on The UglyDolls Movie which will be released May 2019. As I continue to work as a story artist, I use lessons I've learned as an illustrator, graphic designer, animator and incorporate them into storytelling. It is something I bring to my classes at the Society of Illustrators LA. where I teach storyboarding.
