Melanie Hoffman

Melanie Augustyn Hoffman has been working in animation for many years, beginning at Paramount Animation, under Jill Gilbert, the VP of Production. From there, she moved onto DreamWorksTV - the kid focused branch of AwesomenessTV - where she oversaw all animation development and production. During that time she created and ran a writers room for a Motion Capture pipeline which produced over 500 shorts starring Shrek, Donkey, Puss In Boots, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls and other Dreamworks Animation characters. Melanie was in charge of development and production on numerous animated series for the company’s YouTube, Amazon, and Go90 channels; including Grandma’s Cats Are Trying to Kill Her, Lizzie the Lizard, and the successful Jell-O Wobz branded series.

Currently, Melanie is developing her own slate of projects focused on animation and Live Action/Animation hybrids. Projects include a franchise based on the critically acclaimed YA Novel series, Hawksong, a joint Polish animation production, and further consultation on the Jell-O Wobz brand for Kraft.
