Hillary Murrell
Manager of DreamLearning, DreamWorks Animation
Hillary Murrell is a passionate professional with 10 plus years’ experience in animation education, museum education, and community outreach with a proven record of building nationally recognized educational programming. She currently works at DreamWorks Animation as the Manager of DreamLearning where she collaborates with creatives and industry professionals to develop and curate learning programs for DreamWorks' employees. In her prior positions as the Director of Education at the Walt Disney Family Museum, Fowler Museum at UCLA, and various galleries in Los Angeles, CA and London, UK, Hillary connected industry professionals, artists and students through Community Outreach Programs, Teacher Trainings, Summer Intensives and more. She has also taught public speaking and presentation skills to a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations through improv. Hillary holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from UCLA and a Master's degree in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.
Though not an artist herself, Hillary tries to view the world through an artist's eyes taking inspiration from wherever she may find it. She sees her art as supporting other artists to reach their goals and tell their authentic story. Hillary is an avid reader, mother to daughter, Evan, and dog-ther, Bailey, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
