Dan Schrecker
VFX Supervisor
Dan Schrecker is a freelance Visual Effects supervisor based in New York City. With over 20 years experience in film and television vision, he has had the honor of working with a number of directors who are noted for their singular visions and original work. A close collaborator of Darren Aronoskfy, Schrecker has worked on all of the director’s films including Requeim for A Dream, The Fountain, Black Swan and most recently, mother! In addition to Aronofsky, Schrecker has had the opportunity to supervise VFX for The Coen Brothers (Hail, Caesar!), Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom), Julie Taymor (Frida) and Lee Daniels (The United States vs. Billie Hoilday, Precious). He recently completed work on The Many Saints of Newark (a.k.a. The Sopranos prequel-movie) and is currently in post-production on Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling.
